Field trips are an excellent way to augment your home education efforts. Hands on, real life learning can increase understanding and retention. And, they are just plain fun!

Heritage Christian School offers the Stanford Achievement Test-10 for HCS Students in grades 4th to 11th each spring. This test is optional. Some parents find it useful to help them gauge their student's educational progress.

All HCS students & parents should get their photos taken even if you do not intend to purchase any pictures. Your photos will be used to create Student IDs (K-12) and Faculty IDs (useful for teacher discounts). Grades K-11 will have the photos in the yearbook.

Special events for senior's special school year including the Annual Senior Banquet, Monthly Senior Social Events, and Annual Grad Nite usually held at Disneyland.

This is a formal event with opportunity for HCS high school students to dress up for the evening and enjoy a formal dinner in a special location.

Celebrate the senior class with a formal cap and gown, Pomp and Circumstance graduation commencement.

Each year a parent committee is formed to plan the annual Sixth Grade Camp for our HCS students. To help our Sixth Graders get acquainted with fellow campers, parents volunteers plan monthly social events such as bowling, a beach day, or an ice cream social.

HCS celebrates the completion of traditional milestones by holding a promotion ceremony for Kindergartners, 6th graders, and 8th graders at the end of the school year. Participation in this ceremony is not mandatory but highly encouraged. Pre-registration is required.

Getting together with our HCS friends doesn't stop at the end of the school year. Whether you like to lay back and enjoy the cool breeze or work at getting your steps in, HCS members can enjoy staying connected through the summer by joining us at beach days and/or hiking days.

HCS is pleased to provide the opportunity for our students and families to participate in ministry and missions projects as they become available. These are great opportunities for high school students to earn community service hours.

HCS offers various opportunities to inform, equip, and train parents in their homeschool journey including the Annual Heritage Conference, monthly membership meetings, and Pillars of Homeschooling.

Our HCS staff is out in the community promoting the benefits of homeschooling with Heritage. Come out and meet us in person, we would love to speak with you.

The annual used curriculum sales are a great way to save money by selling curriculum you no longer need and purchase curriculum for the upcoming school year at discounted prices.
