The HCS Band Program seeks to develop student musicians who grow in personal discipline and skill, perform quality music with the ensemble, develop meaningful relationships, and use their musical abilities to bring glory to our Father in Heaven.

11:10am: Concert Band

12:40: Jazz Band
There is a Fall Concert in November, an HCS-wide Christmas program in December, and a Spring Concert in May. We may also play for HCS sports games, graduation ceremony, and other events.
The HCS Band is open to any student enrolled in 4th-12th grades.
Beginning Band is for beginning musicians who are learning their instrument for the first time, or who need some additional practice on the music fundamentals.
Concert Ensemble is open, by audition, to anyone who has studied their instrument for at least one year, but preferably two.
Jazz Band is open, by audition, to Concert Band members. Students must be in Concert Band to participate in Jazz Band.
Band instruments include flute, oboe, clarinet, bass clarinet, alto saxophone, tenor saxophone, trumpet, french horn, trombone, baritone, tuba, and percussion (bell kit and snare drum).
String players (violin, viola, cello, string bass) may audition for Concert Ensemble.
$50/year to register for Music Club, plus $50/semester per ensemble.
