Erinn Schwarz graduated summa cum laude from Point Loma Nazarene University, where she
earned a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education and Piano Performance. She completed her
Master’s degree in Piano Pedagogy at San Diego State University. Erinn served as an Assistant
Professor of Music at Vanguard University from 2004-2009, where she taught class piano,
private piano, music theory, and aural theory classes. She has also taught class piano at PLNU
and SDSU, and private lessons in her home studio.

Mrs. Schwarz enjoys writing hymn arrangements for solo piano, and has three books of sacred
piano arrangements published by The Lorenz Corporation. Her compositions have been
included in PedalPoint magazine and The Church Pianist. She also loves to accompany for
choral groups, and has performed as piano accompanist for the choirs at PLNU and Vanguard
University.

Erinn and her husband, Dieter, have been married for over 19 years, and they are members of
Shadow Mountain Community Church. They have two daughters and have been homeschooling
with Heritage since 2023. Erinn loves the wonderful community at Heritage Christian School and
is so blessed to accompany the amazing choir students at HCS! The Schwarz family is
passionate about homeschooling, and they love to pursue creative endeavors including music,
ballet, art, and photography.
