Who is Heritage Christian School?

Heritage Christian School (HCS) is an unaccredited private school registered with the state of California. All of our students are enrolled under our “Private School Affidavit”, and in order to receive a diploma from HCS a student must have completed all the subjects and credits required by the state of California.

We define homeschooling as parent-directed, home-based, privately funded education with the parents in complete control and in charge of how, when, where, and what is included in their child's educational plan.

Parents Choose the curriculum that best fits their students. HCS does not tell parents which specific curriculum they must use. But we are here to help you choose if needed.

ACADEMIC ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANCE TO CONFORM TO STATE EDUCATIONAL STANDARDS

Some of these services include but are not limited to:

Academic Advising
Cume File Maintenance
Yearly Course of Study (required by state law for all private, public, and home schools) done through our online student portal.
Online Grading
Help in creating a High School Projection (General or College Prep) to meet state standards and college admission requirements
Transcripts that conform to College & University Expectations. We want our students to Stand Out, not Stick Out.
Yearly SAT10 testing* (not required but highly recommended) very helpful to see how the student is doing in each subject and its subsets. These scores are for parent information only. And will also be kept in their cume file.
