Administrative Staff

Ximena was born in Mexico City. She and her husband have two children whom they have been homeschooling for over 10 years, with one already graduated.

Through her YouTube channel, "Chips & Salsa Homeschooling," Ximena developed a passion for encouraging other parents with Biblical truth and practical tips. With over seven years of social media experience, she is excited to bring engaging content to Heritage Christian School and foster a supportive homeschool community.

Ximena and her family attend Park Hill Church, where she serves as a worship leader and leads a community group with her husband. She believes in the power of community and is thrilled to be a part of Heritage Christian School.

Judy and her husband, Ted, were blessed to homeschool their 6 kids, four of whom graduated from Heritage.

Judy had the privilege of serving in various volunteer roles throughout her years with Heritage, as a volunteer Coach for Volleyball and as an Assistant Coach for Basketball. Judy co-founded the basketball program and served as Director until graduating their youngest in 2018.

Her heart was for encouraging her teams to “...do all things to the glory of God.”, to work hard, work as a team and encourage one another to challenge themselves and to stay strong in their faith. She looks forward to working with club committees in the same way, as she and they encourage one another, working as unto the Lord.

Erin is a San Diego native and Heritage Christian School Alumna. Additionally, she is the daughter of Tracy West, our school accountant. Tracy was called by the Lord to homeschool Erin and her 2 younger sisters beginning in 1997. Erin returned to HCS in 2017 to begin the academic adventure of her own daughter Harmony. She has worked in many educational settings including after-school programs, tutoring, classroom education, teacher mentorship, school and curriculum development.

Following her graduation from Point Loma Nazarene University with a Bachelor of Arts in Education and Concentration in Human Development, Erin earned a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from San Diego State University. Prior to becoming a mother, she instructed Second Grade at Trinity Christian School. This was a truly exciting time for Erin, as she was teaching under the leadership of her former elementary school principal. Erin had attended TCS as a child, beginning in preschool and lasting through 4th grade. When she was 18 years old, Erin was also hired as the lunch supervisor and PE Coach.

Now, Erin strives daily to minister to those around her with Christ’s love. She has been a Class Day lead with HCS for the last 4 years, attends Skyline Church and enjoys her Head Coach position with AYSO. For her, serving our community and HCS families is a priceless treasure. Praise the Lord we are blessed to share in the joy of learning together as we continue growing in God’s love.

Liz attended Heritage Christian School during her highschool years. During her time at HCS, she participated in Yearbook, stage crew for Drama Club, and Class Days. She has always enjoyed being creative, and being homeschooled gave her many opportunities to challenge her art and design skills.

After completing highschool, Liz studied at Biola University to further her creative passions. In Spring 2024, she graduated, earning a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and Marketing Management and a minor in Bible. While at Biola, she volunteered at the school’s two Bible conferences: Torrey Conference and Mission Conference. She also served as the Graphic Design Editor on the university’s yearbook team.

Liz is excited to return to Heritage to serve as the Yearbook Advisor and lead students in creating the school’s yearbook. She is enthusiastic about working alongside students to create a book full of memories that they can enjoy for years to come. In her spare time, Liz loves trying out new coffee shops, drawing, and doing anything remotely creative.

Kaylee was a student at Heritage Christian School from Kindergarten to 12th grade. She is very thankful for her homeschooling background and the hard work her parents put towards her education and upbringing. During this time, Kaylee participated in Class Day and Drama Club, serving as co-choreographer for HCS theater productions alongside her mother, Janet.

After graduating from Heritage, Kaylee attended Biola University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Intercultural Studies and a minor in Bible. At Biola, she worked as an Instructional Design Assistant editing online courses and was elected to serve in the Student Government Association. One of her favorite college experiences was interning as an English teacher in South Korea for two months.

After finishing her degree in 2023, Kaylee returned to San Diego and joined the HCS office staff. She is excited to reenter the Heritage community and serve its families with care and excellence. In her spare time, Kaylee enjoys exploring the city, trying new boba shops, and doing Inductive Bible Study.

Lilia has been married to her husband, Mark, for 28 years. They homeschooled their three daughters for over ten years. All three graduated from HCS, their last student in June of 2020. Her involvement at HCS includes two years as secretary of Drama Club parent board, Co-Chair of the Spring Formal committee, and Chair of  the Senior Banquet committee. 

Lilia's passion for graphic arts, photography, videography, and teaching led her to step in as the Yearbook Program  Advisor from 2018 to 2023. In August of 2020 she joined the school's administrative staff as Communications Manager and manages the web site, social media, newsletter,  marketing, and all graphic design needs. 

The Sepulveda family has been heavily involved in church ministry for many years. They are all passionate about using their God given gifts in God's kingdom which includes HCS. Lilia has previously served in various leadership roles including church and pastoral secretary, discipleship teacher, youth director, VBS director, Sunday School superintendent and children's ministry director. 

Lilia, her husband, and youngest daughter relocated to rural east Texas in June of 2023 and continues to be part of the HCS staff remotely.

Tracy and John have been married since 1979 and have six children, 7 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Tracy began working in the bookkeeping and income tax field in 1979. In obedience to the Lord in 1990, she moved her business into her home to be with her children full-time.

In 1996 she began homeschooling with Heritage, joined the Del Cerro campus class day admin team in 1998, started the 2nd Class Day at the Del Cerro Campus in 2003 as co-coordinator and began working in the office in 2006. She homeschooled and graduated her three youngest daughters through HCS. Her last daughter graduated in 2010. Her oldest daughter, Erin, is on staff and her granddaughter is currently homeschooled through HCS.
