Heritage Christian School offers the Standford Achievement Test-10 for HCS Students in grades 4th to 11th  each spring.

Cost: $35 per student (Non-Refundable)

Test results are normally back by mid-June.

This test is optional. Some parents find it helpful to gauge and record their student's educational progress.

Students who have taken the College Board SAT, ACT, or CLT should not take this test.

On-Site Option Available for Grade 7th - 11th

April 2-4, 2024

  • 8:30 am - 12:00 pm (end time will vary)
  • Location: Del Cerro Baptist Church
  • High school students test only on day 1 and 2
  • HCS relies on the volunteer efforts of families in order to undertake such a task as this.  If you opt for the ON-SITE option, you will be required to sign up for one volunteer slot during the registration process.
  • Once capacity has been reached for the in-person dates, the only option will be to take the test at home. Therefore, if you want to take the test in-person, signing up quickly is recommended.
  • HSL login required for registration.
On-Site Option Registration

At Home Option Available for Grade 4th - 11th

April 10-17, 2024

  • At-Home is the only option for 4th -6th grade students.
  • Materials may be picked up at the office starting April 9, 2024.
  • All test materials must be returned to the office no later than April 18, 2024.
  • Materials not returned by April 18, 2024 will not be mailed in for scoring.
  • If testing at home, feel free to join up with other HCS families who have students in the same grade and test together, splitting up the proctoring responsibilities. Testing in this way provides a social aspect to testing that some may find more motivating for their students.

At Home Option Registration

Important Note for students using test scores for Honor Society membership qualification!

Per ETA SIGMA ALPHA National Homeschool Honor Society, scores from at home tests administered under the supervision of a parent or guardian are not eligible for membership qualification. An adult test supervisor may administer the test in the home, provided the parent is not in the room. Students are welcome to test at another person’s home or business.  Read ETA's full membership testing policy here
