Field Trips are a great HCS member benefit! Registration for upcoming trips open up to the whole school at the same time, so everyone has the same opportunity to sign up for each trip. Field trips are announced in the HCS weekly email and on our HCS website. Trips can fill, so we encourage you to sign up at your earliest convenience.
Heritage Christian School is a nonprofit organization and depends on fundraising activities which provide resources to sustain the services offered to our families. One of the means available includes offering some field trips with a fundraising component to cover staff time in providing field trips as well as cover processing (and other) fees. The four field trips that include a fundraising component are: The San Diego Zoo, The Safari Park, Sea World, and Knott's Berry Farm. Schools are given considerable discounts by these venues which are passed on to our members but also include a small fundraising component.
Deadlines for registration and start times for each trip are firm, so please carefully read the flyer and registration page with all the details for each specific field trip.
Registrations are completed online through Homeschool Life. Payment for field trips will be required at the time of registration. Payments will be processed through the payment method saved to your family account. If you would like to pay by check, please email hcsfieldtrips@hcssd.org to make arrangements.
A confirmation email will be sent directly after your successful registration. An additional email will be sent one week prior to the trip with everything you need to know for the day of the event.
No Refunds, As per HCS policy, there are no refunds for any trip for any reason.
Travelers will visit sites such as Caesarea, Jericho, Bethlehem, Jerusalem and other areas of the Holy Land. More information available on the CapistranoIsrael.com website.
Trip details will be posted as soon as they become available.
