Co-op Class Day mandatory orientations are NEW this year. These orientations are for both students and parents. Come check out your campus and see where all your classes will be held. We will go over parental responsibilities, classroom management for students and parents, and safety and emergency plans.
Co-op Class Days are CO-OPs! We need you to be up to date on new procedures and expectations. Also, you can get a jump start on seeing old friends, making new friends, and putting faces to names!
IMPORTANT: Be sure to join the Escondido BAND

Meets: 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month, 9:05am - 12:30pm

Lead: Allison Wardrip
Our day will begin with a short opening assembly in the sanctuary. This will be a time for everyone to gather for the Pledge of Allegiance, prayer, worship, an encouraging message, and important announcements.
All families must volunteer to serve for two periods. Many of the below classes have been purposefully selected because they involve minimal prep and/or existing lesson plans already exist. Please talk to Allison Wardrip about where you can serve and/or if there is a class you would like to replace or add to the schedule.
Please bring a sack lunch and join with other families around campus to eat, play, and build relationships!
Fellowship is a key component of our co-op. The Fellowship Hall/Kitchen will be open throughout our day to connect with other parents and enjoy a cup of coffee, in addition to light refreshments.
Allison Wardrip has been married to her husband, Noah, for 20 years. They have two daughters, ages 14 and 10. They are entering their 8th year of homeschooling and they've been at Heritage for all of those years. Their family loves to travel around the US and internationally. They love to play board games, with favorites being Dominion, Catan, and Splendor. They love all the wonderful activities San Diego has to offer, including Padres games, the beach, hiking and bike riding.
Allison is a native Californian and has lived in San Diego for 21 years. She absolutely loves coffee, loves to read and discuss books, and loves worship music & hymns. Recently, she has been attending Bible classes and building her skills in Theology, Biblical Worldview, and Apologetics. As a result, it has deepened her passion to teach young people in these areas to help bolster their faith. She also uses her time to volunteer with various Jesus-loving organizations such as the Center for Biblical Unity, Unity4Orphans, and American Heritage Girls.
Allison counts it a blessing and privilege to homeschool and she is truly thankful for Heritage! She is looking forward to leading the Escondido Co-op for its 3rd year! God is good and it is exciting to see what He will do to expand our school and bring more families into this amazing community!
