Whether walking in the commencement or not, all HCS Graduates are encouraged to submit their bio which will be printed in the graduation program. This should include the activities and achievements in or outside of HCS that the senior would like to have highlighted. There is room for a maximum of 500 character spaces to highlight their involvement in any Clubs, Societies, School Activities, Special Achievements, Scholarships, Sports (volleyball, club soccer...) Future Plans (school, work, travel, etc.)
EXAMPLE 1: Jane has been an HCS student her whole life. She has been involved in several HCS clubs including basketball, volleyball, drama, & choir. She spent several summers working as a CCA at Forest Home, as well as volunteering for local VBS programs. Additionally, Jane volunteers for Life with God, Inc., a local homeless ministry. She plans to pursue a career in education, ultimately hoping to work in Special Education.
EXAMPLE 2: Joe participated in Classical Conversations since 3rd grade and finished Challenge IV this year; active in a Fencing Academy for 2 years; Eagle Scout; plans to attend Philmont before joining the Air Force.
