Getting together with our HCS friends doesn't stop at the end of the school year. Whether you like to lay back and enjoy the cool breeze, catch some waves, or work at getting your steps in, HCS members can enjoy staying connected through the summer by joining us on Beach Mondays and Wednesdays, Hiking Thursdays, and/or Surfing Fridays. While others travel to our city for summer, get out and enjoy the perks of living in beautiful San Diego along side your HCS friends. IMPORTANT: These are family events and at least one parent must to be present with their child(ren) at all times. No drop-offs allowed.
Pack the kids, sunscreen, beach gear, lunch and head to the Beach. Join your HCS friends and make new friends at the beach every Monday of the summer.

Torrey Pines Beach Trail at Torrey Pines State National Reserve. This is a 2.4-mile out-and-back trail that can be best described as “down and back up”. There is a 364 ft. elevation loss from the beginning of the trail head, down to the beach. Please know that the trail head begins across from the visitor’s center in the State Park, so either you can park on the street for free and walk up the very steep hill into the park, or you can pay the State Park fee to park at the trail head and walk down with us, then back up to your car.
