Our Classes

Classes begin at 9:35 am. We offer a well rounded selection of both enrichment and academic classes for Elementary, Jr. High and High School. We have a nursery and preschool program (newborn to 5 yrs old) staffed by Heritage moms to care for your little ones while you are working with your teaching team. Our class schedule and course descriptions for the 2021-2022 school year can be found on the HERE.

If you are a new family interested in joining Heritage, please feel free to visit us during one of our class days for a time to get to know us and our campus. Send us an email to let us know when you would like to come.

Meet East County's Class Day Lead

Emily Weld portrait
Emily Weld

Emily Weld, a 2nd generation homeschooler and HCS graduate (1995), is in her 12th year of homeschooling her children ages 16, 14, 11 and 7. Emily was blessed with a visionary for a father who encouraged her to pursue a non-traditional approach to higher education focused on developing biblical character and life skills. This led to a finishing school in Dallas, counseling training for inner city youth work in Indianapolis and Australia and a variety of college classes from nutrition to accounting, as well as certifying as an W-EMT. She attended Patrick Henry College during their inaugural year (‘00/’01) serving as an RA and working in the finance dept. for HSLDA. Emily learned bookkeeping skills while apprenticing for an accountant in high school and then worked as an office manager and bookkeeper in her father’s business for five years, then started her own small bookkeeping business for seven years before homeschooling life overtook everything else. She and her sweet husband Andy have been married for 18 years and are excited and challenged to pass on the blessing of a godly heritage to their children in pursuit of glorifying Jesus and making Him known.
