Roxanna and her husband Tim have been married for 24 years and have 3 children. Their homeschooling journey began 15 years ago with Heritage when their first child entered kindergarten. Since then, they have graduated two children through HCS who are currently working and attending college, with one more child to go who is currently a Sophomore at HCS. Roxanna has enjoyed serving at HCS throughout the years teaching, helping in classes, serving as a class day coordinator for 2 years and encouraging others in their homeschool/parenting journey while also receiving that same help and encouragement. Having been homeschooled herself from 6 th – 12 th grade, she understands the challenges and value of creating a foundation of education based on the principles of God’s word and how it emboldens us in our ability to learn, grow, and use our talents for His glory.

In her spare time, Roxanna enjoys gardening, water color painting, health and fitness, baking sourdough, playing board games, home remodeling, studying the Scriptures, serving in ministry at church, exploring new places with her family across the states, trying and learning new things, and understanding the fascinating beauty of God’s creation through science.
