Naomi Doire was born and raised in Concord, California, in the Bay Area. She moved to San Diego for college in 2001 and earned her degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sports Medicine from Christian Heritage College in 2005. During college, she worked at Starbucks, where she met her future husband, Dale. They quickly became close friends and were married in 2009.

Naomi and Dale have a son and a daughter, and their educational journey has taken a thoughtful and evolving path. They began at a charter school, which provided a great foundation, and later transitioned to a private Christian school. In time, they felt led to consider homeschooling as an option for their son. After many conversations, prayer, and careful consideration, they began their homeschool journey in the spring of 2025. Naomi is deeply grateful for Heritage and the many opportunities it has provided for her son, including participation in Music Club, Robotics Club, and eSports Club.

Outside of school, Naomi stays busy managing her family’s small business and nonprofit. She also enjoys working out, spending time with her family and their dogs, baking, and playing all kinds of games—from board and card games to video games.
