As we get closer to Thanksgiving and the holiday season, I’m so thankful for all the blessings we have every day while homeschooling and teaching our kids. This special time of year is a great chance to think about how good God is and all the ways He takes care of us—through our families, friends, and the love we feel in our school community.

At the heart of Thanksgiving is a spirit of thankfulness that goes beyond just one day or event. As we read in 1 Thessalonians 5:18, we’re told to “give thanks in all situations, because this is what God wants for you in Christ Jesus.” Whether we’re happy or sad, we should always look to God with grateful hearts.

This Thanksgiving and holiday season, I encourage Mustang families and students to take a moment to think about all the blessings in your lives and thank God for them. Through prayer, being kind to others, and helping those in need, we can really show what Thanksgiving is all about and honor God in everything we do.

May this season be filled with peace, love, and gratitude as we remember all the gifts God has given us. Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Heritage! Go Mustang Family!
