Junior Academy Teacher Recruitment

Openings

HCS is now accepting applications for the Jr. Academy 5th/6th grade teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The Academy meets once a week on Mondays.

Requirements

Teachers for both Academies are hired as Independent Contractors and must meet the requirements listed below.

Agree to teach the class from a Biblical Worldview
Must sign and be in complete agreement with our Statement of Faith
Complete an interview with the Principal and Academy Lead
Complete a Background check
Must have taught the class (or similar class) in a previous setting and can provide a syllabus from a past class/co-op

Application Process

Step 1: Fill out and return application

Submit the Google form application
Read and agree to the HCS Statement of Faith
Upload copy of previous or proposed syllabus for each class you would like to teach

Step 2: Interview Process

Schedule an interview
Complete background check
References confirmed

Step 3: Hiring

Read and sign contract
