Every school year, there is a fall concert and a spring concert. Our choirs may also sing at field trips, fundraisers, graduation ceremony, and other events.
Junior Choir is a smaller, non-auditioned choir for students in grades 3-6, where vocal and choral techniques will be taught.
Concert Choir is our largest non-auditioned choir for boys and girls, where vocal and choral techniques will be taught, along with music theory and score reading, while we prepare 3 and 4-part music in a variety of styles. Open to grades 6-12.
Chamber Singers is the smallest vocal ensemble open by audition only. It is an advanced level vocal group that offers students with a more challenging vocal repertoire, more a Capella settings, and independent part singing. Open to grades 9-12.

Miss Michaela Park has been homeschooled through Heritage Christian School all her life up until graduating from high school in 2021. She enjoyed being part of the HCS Drama Club for two and a half years where she especially loved singing in the shows. Since then, she has received her Associates degree in Music-Classical Studies at Grossmont College as a Vocal Major in Spring 2025. There, she took voice lessons under Audra Puccio-Nagby and continues to be part of the Grossmont College Vocal Jazz ensemble led by Melonie Grinnell. Michaela has also been singing with her church’s worship team at Lake Murray Community Church since 2022.
She is excited for the opportunity to use her talents in a new way that glorifies God and blesses HCS families.
