Noel was born in South Korea and was adopted when she was 2 years old. She spent the majority of her life in Minnesota and moved to San Diego almost 10 years ago. She has been married to her husband, Brett, for 22 years and they have four children 21, 20, 18 and 13. This will be their third year homeschooling and third year with Heritage. Noel started out as an assistant volleyball coach her first year with Heritage, then became a JV coach and then seved as President of the Volleyball Parent Committee. Noel also plays beach or indoor volleyball, as often as her schedule permits.
The Sipes family likes to be physically active together, swimming, boogie boarding, surfing, volleyball, softball, mountain biking, and hiking, to name a few. Noel never thought that she would be a homeschool mom, but God used recent circumstances in society to "encourage" her to take the plunge. It has been a rewarding and exciting challenge for her to navigate this new frontier.
Heritage has been such a blessing to her family and she prays that you too will find your place in this fun, encouraging, and lively community that loves the Lord!
